Sound in Meditation Practice – Mantra Japa

The sacred utterance called Mantra, is a sound that evokes certain feelings and vibrations within us. While you are listening or chanting Mantra, it travels through the body, purifies the mind, and expands the heart space. 

When you practice meditation with sound in a form of Mantra Japa (a repetition of sacred utterance), it becomes a powerful tool that facilitates healing, brings us wellbeing, and promotes self discovery.  

 As much as Mantra permeates the individual internal space and creates positive changes, the benefits of the sound also pervades the external surroundings. Some Mantra are purposely for the environment, nature and other various beings to be cleansed, nurtured and protected because of its potent nature of permeability and transformative power.

The meditative practice of Mantra Japa keeps the mind focused, improves breathing capacity and brings positive mental and emotional shifts. 

Above all, the greatest gift is an experience of silence, where all sounds emerge from and merge into;  In the silence you hear the divine within, experiencing the inner peace, clarity, and a sense of belongingness. 

We will learn to be silent through sound. This is the journey of Mantra Japa.
