Yoga practice can offer many tools to know more about ourselves at different levels.
I would like to share some short practices that might be helpful to add to your home practice or day.
Understanding how your body and mind works.
Having tools to treat physical, mental and emotional dis-ease.
Being able to observe what’s happening within and around us with calmness.
These are qualities to empower our selves.
During these uncertain times I hope we can all stay grounded ,come out with stronger trust within and inner peace for ourselves and others.
Peace Practice

Peace can be disturbed by our own actions, by other living beings or by unseen forces such as natural calamities and fate etc.
We pray for all these 3 aspects of peace.
Om shantihi
Om shanti shantihi
Om shanti shanti shantihi
May I be peaceful.
May you be peaceful.
May peace be around us all.
Community Sharing on Peace
At the end of Peace Practice on April 17th, people shared their ways of dealing with uneasiness.
- Taking a day at a time
- Breathing
- Limiting intake of information
- Gratitude
- Acceptance
- Walking
These collective shared ideas are simple and valuable reminders.
I hope you will find them helpful, too!

Peace Practice
Bring peace into our day
Next Peace Practice is on Wednesday , June 10th @ 10.00am.
The aim of this practice is to bring peace into our body, thoughts and attitude.
During the practice movement and breathing exercises prepare to create a calm and relaxing environment in the mind where the feeling of peace rises. This inner peace will be shared through a prayer to all around us by using special a hand placement called Nyāsa.
Practice with Sun

This is the practice to connect with the presence of the Sun, Sūrya.
Sūrya is the Sun, which gives us warmth, energy, nourishment and brightness. Also there is the Sun within our heart that gives us love, willingness, vitality and intelligence.
We honour the Sun above us, around us and within us.
Hi Naomi, Thanks you for your thoughtfulness in this situation and always giving so so much of yourself….Lovely. I would love full real time class .
